You can also add a security camera. The camera can be mounted in strategic areas throughout your home. The camera picks up images in the area where they are mounted and will display them on a monitor. You can also record the images to play back later.

Burglar alarm systems can be installed by a home security company or you can do it yourself. If you use a home security company, you have the option of having them monitor your system. If an alarm goes off, the company will immediately inform the local police department or send their security personnel to check out your home.

There are a number of burglar alarm devices on the market and a number of home security companies from which you can choose. You can research them on the Internet or find one in the Yellow Pages. The cost of burglar alarm systems vary. Look for one that fits your needs and your budget.
